What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences over time, and let the site owner understand how the site is being used. Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage do much the same job, and where we refer to cookies we mean those too.
How we use them
This website does not set any cookies for ordinary visitors. The only cookies it uses are the ones WordPress sets for site administrators when they sign in. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks.
The cookies this site uses
wordpress_test_cookie
Strictly necessary · Session
Checks whether your browser accepts cookies. Only set on the sign-in page used by site administrators.
wordpress_logged_in_*
Strictly necessary · Session, or 14 days if “Remember me” is ticked
Keeps a site administrator signed in. Never set for ordinary visitors.
wordpress_sec_*
Strictly necessary · Session, or 14 days if “Remember me” is ticked
Keeps a site administrator’s sign-in secure. Never set for ordinary visitors.
wp-settings-*
Functional · 12 months
Remembers a site administrator’s screen settings in the WordPress dashboard. Never set for ordinary visitors.
wpEmojiSettingsSupports
Functional (browser storage, not a cookie) · Until you close the tab
Records whether your browser can show emoji, so WordPress knows whether to load its own emoji images. Holds no personal information.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the website and its sign-in area to work, and cannot be switched off. Ordinary visitors do not receive any of them. You can block cookies in your browser, but the sign-in area will stop working.
Analytics cookies
We do not use analytics cookies at present. If we add them, they will be optional, we will ask for your agreement before setting any, and they will be listed above.
Managing your choices
As this site sets no optional cookies, there is no consent to give or withdraw at present. You can control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting cookies already stored and blocking new ones. Guidance for each major browser is available on its own support site, and aboutcookies.org explains the process in general terms.
Third party services
The fonts on this website are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address. No Google Fonts cookies are set on this site. The site does not embed video or other content from third parties; if that changes, we will name the provider here so you can read their policy.
More information
For how we handle personal data more generally, see our privacy policy. If you have a question about cookies on this site, contact us at info@irsconstruction.co.uk.
