Site Supervisor, Edinburgh, UK
Job description
We're looking for a Site Supervisor to join IRS Construction, running day-to-day site operations across our projects in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
The Role:
You'll take charge of day-to-day site operations, keep health and safety front and centre, and maintain quality across the work of various trades. Knowledge of external wall insulation would be useful, though it's not essential.
Health and safety

Making sure health and safety is adhered to on site

Carrying out site inductions

Running toolbox talks
-
Checking the correct PPE is worn on site
-
Making sure traffic management plans are followed
-
Keeping the site as clean and tidy as possible
-
Assisting with waste management
Day to day
-
Overseeing work activities on site across various trades
-
Making sure works are carried out to specification across various trades
-
Monitoring works and keeping a photographic record
Materials and quality
-
Recording stock levels of materials on site
-
Taking in and monitoring deliveries, keeping to traffic management rules
-
Inspecting works and keeping snagging records
Documents and reporting
-
Keeping site records, including start and end of day checks and labour records
-
Keeping the manager updated on progress
What you'll need

SSSTS
-
First Aid at Work
-
Asbestos Awareness
-
A forklift licence is preferable but not required
-
Have worked on construction EWI projects

Good knowledge of Contracts
-
Broad range of experience in refurbishment contracts

Be committed to delivering a quality product
-
Good communication and IT skills
-
Knowledge of external wall insulation is preferable but not essential
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Schedule: 7:45am to 4:30pm
Work Location: In person, Edinburgh
